I’ve been promising a video on how to make a rosary for a while. It’s actually very simple.

To do this project you will need:

1 Needle nose pliers
1 Side cutter pliers
About a foot of chain. More or less depending on how long you want your links to be
6 Large beads
50 Small beads
1 Medal (I don’t know exactly what this is called but it has two loops on the top and one on the bottom and usually shows a religious icon)
1 Cross or crucifix.
2 jump rings

This is the rosary you will be making.

I Lost my wife’s Rosary and I am heart sick over it as she is deceased and I treasured that Rosery and I would like to duplicate it, if at all possible – It was a beautiful, all Gold Plated Rosery – beads and all – the center piece had the miraculous medal on one side and the sacred heart on the other and the cross was beautiful…. Could you duplicate such a rosary or at least tell me were I can get one just like it or at least close to it?? I do not know wear she obtained it.

I love the way that you are making your rosary but I am kind of curious on how long the chain has to be. I am very interested in making a rosary. Thank-YOu

Thank you so much for this video. Since I was diagnosed with cancer, I have so much time on my hands and now I know what I can be doing with them. I pray the Rosery everyday, so now I can make a rosery and pray with that Rosery when I’m done. Again, thank you so very much, and God Bless and may the graces of our Holy Mother hold you near to her Immaculate Heart. Your sister through Christ.

    Greetings!
I am an active member of The Legion of Mary in California, USA. The Comitium proposed to all members in the praesidia to start making rosaries for our own supplies and to be given out during all of the Legion events and at evangelization works. I am looking for a vendor where we can buy all the supplies to start the project. Can you help direct me to some of them that I can contact to inquire? I would really appreciate it.
    Looking forward to your response.
    In Christ thru Mary,
    Connie
