Our Story:
In the summer of 2009 as the leading online Catholic Store, The Catholic Company was contacted as a potential buyer of Rosary.com. Even though the site was of little use to the former owner, he still commanded a high price for it. After a period of thoughtful reflection and prayer, we decided that it was imperative that we purchase the domain to protect if from being obtained by someone who had no appreciation for Our Lady and her Rosary.
Although the purchase was done quietly by us at The Catholic Company, it nonetheless prompted quite a few comments in the marketplace, such as this one:
- “Sex sells, but apparently religion does, too. In a stark contrast to all the gambling and adult domain auctions that make the news…This appears to be the highest-price religious domain auction to date.” – Daniel Foster of internetblog.org.
Upon acquiring Rosary.com, we set about the task of turning the site into a world-class rosary store and resource center. The store opened to the public on August 4th and the Rosary Resource Center opened on August 14th.
On August 15th, 2009, Rosary.com was rededicated to the service of Mary on the Feast of the Assumption. We invite you to find your “rosary home” here, among those who share a love for the beautiful prayer, and seek to honor Our Lady through the Mysteries given to us by her Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am Marlon and i work in a dialysis clinic, a few days ago i hurt my back and i am in an excruciating pain. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me medicine and told me to rest and do therapy for my back, but it seems that the medicine is taking a while to take effect on me. Let me share to you about my mom who just passed away a couple of years ago, she was a very devout catholic and prays the rosary almost everyday, when i was a child back in the Philippines my family used to pray the rosary every night especially when the statue of the blessed virgin mary is in our house.
Now that i am house bound because of my back pain, i cannot move too much. I tried to find my rosary prayer book but with no success, so i decided to look in the internet for a site where i can recite today’s mystery of the rosary. Yes, i have a bad memory remembering all the mysteries eventhough i used to pray the rosary when i was a child. And then i stumbled upon your website and thank God the first screen showed me the mystery to say for the day and i started praying until i was finished. Your website fascinated me so i started reading what your website is all about and i found a prayer request. I do not want to sound so selfish but i am requesting for a prayer for my quick recovery, i have two children and a wife to support. I also have read and believe that the more people who prays the rosary and

we need to spread to message and keep praying the rosary for world peace. mediations by world leaders would be friultless unless we pray to God to rain peace and righteousness in our world today. we do not want to enter into the era where we fought the naval battle of Lepanto however this this the wish of many miscreants. let’s interceed the inetervention of our Lord through the help of our Lady’s intercession.
